Who we are
We’re a busy law firm and consultancy business, and we’re always looking to add talented people.
Working nationally and internationally from our base in Wales, our work takes many forms and spans different legal departments. We’re lawyers and consultants, but we’re individuals too, with one thing in common: a shared expectation of brilliance.
We’re made up of good people, and we like to work with them, too. Our colleagues are bold and bright, focused and capable, and incredibly serious about what we do.
Working here, you can expect a challenging but rewarding career, with help and support along the way.
We exist to provide an outstanding legal and consulting service. We work in a modern, straightforward manner, in a way that our clients want. We work with good people to do good work.
We’re always open and approachable in the way we work with clients and each other.
We can be trusted. We stand by our word and do what we say we’ll do.
We’re not afraid of tough decisions or of saying what we think. We look for innovative ways to help clients and encourage our colleagues to think independently.
We provide the best support for our clients across all competencies. If we can’t do something excellently, we won’t do it.
We deliver our work in two ways: speaking and writing. Both must be done clearly and perfectly.
Why work at Capital?
Working here, you’ll be looked after. We know that to do the best work, we need the best people – and we promise to invest in you and your development while you’re with us. You can expect:
We offer a whole range of benefits – from a comprehensive health plan, childcare vouchers, and a company pension, to weekly yoga classes, onsite sports massage, and French and Welsh language classes. And, because we’re committed to supporting our charity of the year however we can, there’s always something social going on – from days at the Races, to pub quizzes – that you can get involved in.
We’re proud to be Wales’ 100th Accredited National Living Wage Employer, as awarded by Cynnal Cymru last year. We’re passionate about being a responsible employer and make sure that all of our colleagues are paid at least the Living Wage.
Cardiff is a fantastic place to live and work. It’s good value for money, with short commuting times, and a vibrant, friendly atmosphere. We’ve got fantastic restaurants, museums, and green areas – with stunning beaches and mountains on our doorstep. And, with our city centre location, our office is right in the middle of it all.
Cardiff was recognised as the best city in the UK for quality of life, according to the EU, and was recently listed as the third best capital city in Europe to live in.

We’re always hosting events of all shapes and sizes, and Capital Ideas is our platform to bring experts from different fields together, sharing ideas, cultivating alternative thinking, and facilitating conversations. Join us, and you’ll be part of these innovative discussions.
We’re always looking to recruit talented people, so if you don’t see an open role that suits you, or want to talk more, give our Talent Manager, Claire Jenkins, a ring on 07966 551 499. We’d like that.
