The FCA has established a new directory, to include details of key individuals at authorised firms, as part of the Senior Managers & Certification Regime (“SMCR”). The directory will be available to the public, similar to the existing FCA Register.
Banks, building societies, credit unions and insurance companies are required to submit data by 9 March 2020. All other firms have until 9 December 2020.
The FCA’s policy statement on the new directory can be read here. It sets out what information will be available to the public and types of individuals who will be included.
You can submit your data via the FCA “Connect” Portal using a Director Persons Connect form.
