Elizabeth is a solicitor in the Corporate & Commercial team, with a focus on advising family-owned businesses on a range of shareholder and company matters.

Elizabeth’s work mainly covers company and group re-structuring, acquisitions and disposals, investments, EMI schemes, partnership and shareholders’ agreements and general company advice.

Elizabeth predominantly works for High Net Worth individuals who run private family companies and groups.

Elizabeth is regularly asked to give advice relating to trusts in this context. Elizabeth is currently studying to become a Trust and Estate Practitioner with STEP and has to date achieved distinctions in the STEP Diplomas for the administration of estates, the administration of trusts and in trust and estate accounting.

  • Advising Wolfestone Translation Limited on the acquisition of Robertson Languages International Limited. Drafted and negotiated all of the sale and purchase documentation.
  • Advising a Welsh further education institution on their acquisition of a training establishment. Both entities are charities, and companies limited by guarantee.
  • Advising a housing charity on corporate governance and trustee/director duties.
  • Advising a high net worth individual on the creation, structuring and investment into three new large corporate groups.
  • Advising the trustees of a local charity on setting up a new CIO, transferring assets from the existing unincorporated charity to the CIO, drafting constitutional documents for each charity and linking the charities for administration purposes.
