Emma Carbis

Emma joined the Commercial Property team at Capital Law in June 2014.

Emma began her career in a small niche law firm in Cardiff, before being seconded to Capital Law in 2012, where she qualified. Emma works for companies and investors and her practice focus is on site assembly development work. She also has experience of residential and commercial land acquisition and disposal as well as commercial landlord and tenant.

 

  • Acting for a London law firm’s office move. Work included Heads of Terms, Lease negotiations, infrastructure agreements along with construction issues.
  • Acting for a private education provider on the sale of their long leasehold asset.
  • Acting for a residential developer on cases such as; site assembly, option agreements, planning advice and disposal for around 50 high-end executive homes.
  • Acted on the sale of an industrial site in Birmingham and an acquisition of two investment properties for an investment client.
  • Acting for a textiles manufacturer on their first UK acquisition of leasehold warehouse.
  • Acting for a recently incorporated client on their land acquisition for development into care homes.
