Gareth Williams-Davies joined Capital in March 2018 after spending 10 years in the City of London, where he trained, qualified, and practised as a Corporate lawyer.

Prior to joining Capital, Gareth spent 7 years working in the City of London, first at King & Wood Mallesons (formerly SJ Berwin) followed by Reed Smith.

Gareth has a variety of experience working for UK and international clients on complex, high value transactions, often with a strong multi-jurisdictional flavour. This experience has included acting for private equity houses, large property investment companies, listed companies and international financial institutions.

Gareth’s practice includes working on all aspects of private mergers and acquisitions, with a focus on advising private equity sponsors on their investments.

  • Acting for a real estate investment trust on an initial public offering on the main market of the London Stock Exchange worth £150,000,000 in late 2017.
  • Acting for a UK corporate on an acquisition of a company owning £120,000,000 of warehouse properties.
  • Advising The Development Bank of Wales and other individual investors with their investment in Amplyfi, a UK start up hoping to be Wales’ first “unicorn”.
  • Advising the shareholders of a large UK property investment business on a complex corporate restructuring.
  • Acting for a well known UK private equity house on the acquisition of a well-established UK mobility business.
