Hannah Jones

Hannah is a Solicitor in our Commercial Disputes, and Recovery and Insolvency department.  

She deals with commercial contract and company disputes, including cases involving restrictive covenants, High Court injunctions, professional negligence claims, debt recovery (in the County Court and High Court) and the enforcement of judgments and insolvency litigation.

Hannah has received formal accreditation from the World Bank Group for her contribution to the Doing Business Report: 2019, which focused on the practicability of the English Court system, particularly in terms of the enforcement of contracts. She was also a named contributor for her contribution to the World Bank Doing Business Report from 2014 to 2018.

Hannah specialises in corporate recovery and personal insolvency related matters and advises insolvency practitioners, professional advisers, directors and members of companies, partnerships and individuals, creditors and debtors on bankruptcy proceedings, winding up proceedings, liquidation and administration.

  • Acting for a Trustee in Bankruptcy and investigating the bankrupt’s past dealings to find a cause of action and commencing proceedings pursuant to s339, s423 and s303 (2A) of the Insolvency Act 1986.
  • Assisting a Trustee in Bankruptcy and commencing possession proceedings.
  • Advising a creditor and preparing a statutory demand and advising on the legal process involved in winding-up.
