Kirsty Ellis

Kirsty joined Capital Law in 2016, following 6 years at Rosenblatt Solicitors in London. She advises a range of commercial clients on their London and regional real estate issues.

Kirsty advises commercial landlords and tenants, investors, developers and educational institutions on all aspects of their property interests in the London market and the wider UK. She has particular experience in landlord and tenant, land acquisitions and disposals, and portfolio management.

  • Working in the team instructed by a major distribution company, on its £1.4 million acquisition of land, including let properties. This transaction formed the basis of a new strategic direction for the business.
  • Advising a holding company on the letting of its Andover property including a surrender of the existing lease and a variation of its own head lease.
  • Part of the team instructed by Coleg y Cymoedd in relation to the sale of its Aberdare College Campus which included full development due diligence and title investigation in order to prepare the property for sale.
  • Advising an international London Tech Company on its letting of premium office space in Soho London to be used as its executive office. This included ensuring that the works required in order for the space to adequately meet the essential technical requirements for the space could be undertaken.
  • Acting for a London Law Firm taking new space in central London with an option to renew at the end of the term.
  • Acting for a leading Welsh tech company on taking its new head office letting of newly fully refurbished office space in a central Cardiff office building.
