Guto Llewelyn

Guto Llewelyn

Guto resolves a wide range of commercial disputes, with an emphasis on business disputes, intellectual property and insolvency.

Guto has acted in high value contractual disputes, urgent injunction applications and complex intellectual property matters including copyright and trade mark infringement, breach of confidence and passing off. Over the past 7 years, he has led Capital’s Debt Recovery team and his aptitude for resolving disputes is an asset that seeps into his debt recovery advice.

He has experience of leading a team of lawyers through a variety successful campaigns; from projects involving recovering thousands of historic debts, to dealing with a complicated High Court claim against the Welsh Government worth over £4m. That claim was funded through our own litigation fund, Capital Dispute Finance.

We used Capital Collect to recover a large debt owed to us by an international company who were ignoring our requests for payment.  The service was handled by Guto Llewelyn who was very clear and decisive – his strategy worked perfectly and we were paid every single penny, plus interest and costs within 4 days of his involvement.   We were particularly impressed by the cost effectiveness of Capital Collect and the fact that this great service is run by a team of experienced lawyers, who provided us with valuable advice at the outset.
